Chibi A n J, Inc. is a multifaceted specialty store for Japanese anime and pop culture. Our store, located at 6 Girard Road, off Route 322, near the Rowan University campus in Glassboro, just celebrated its 1st year anniversary, having opened in December 2005.
Our shop carries DVDs, CDs, manga (graphic novels), T-shirts, plush toys, wall scrolls, Japanese snacks like Pocky and Ramune soda, and many more novelty items. We also offer trade-in deals on DVDs, CDs, and manga (in-store only). We are a one stop place for all your Anime to JPop needs. Our inventory features various merchandise from recent popular anime series (Naruto, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket) to older fan favorites (Trigun, Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam), and video game titles (Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, World of Warcraft). As well as merchandise of Japanese Pop/Rock music artists and bands such as L’Arc~en~Ciel, Hyde, T.M. Revolution, Puffy AmiYumi, MUCC, Dir en grey, Nana Kitade, and Asian Kung-Fu Generation.
Chibi A n J was created to meet the growing demand for this type of merchandising atmosphere. Our shop displays an intriguing character and appeal, and is a place for anime fans to just be anime fans. We strive to bring the coolest and cutest merchandise with friendly, personalized service and professionalism.
We have gone international with our online sales having shipped to Europe, Israel, Thailand, Australia, as well the continental US and Canada. We realize customers want to have every channel possible to access our products, so in addition to our traditional “brick and mortar” store we have our own online store here at www.chibianj.com, and also sell on eBay (ID: chibianj). In 2006, Chibi A n J partnered with local libraries, schools and clubs by donating merchandise for prizes to anime related events at Gloucester County Library, Franklin Township Library, and Delsea Regional High School. As part of the neighborhood ourselves, we understand the importance of continuing our support of the local fan community.
One of the best things about our store has been meeting so many people who love anime and the Japanese pop culture. We never get tired of watching our customers get excited over items of their favorite series. We’re really happy to share this joy with you!
Our store was previously located at 6 Girard Road, off Route 322, near the Rowan University campus in Glassboro, and just about 25 miles southeast of Philadelphia. We are currently looking for a new location, and are continuing to operate our store online.
