Return Policy:

As of March 1, 2008 Chibi A n J will no longer accept returns. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No items purchased may be returned. If you have any problem or concern about your purchase please feel free to contact us. We truly care about our customers and will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied.

Defective items may be returned (unless otherwise noted) for a complete replacement or refund. All returns will require authorization so please contact us first before returning any item. We will provide you with a return authorization number. Items must be returned in their new/original condition with unopened original packaging and accessories.

Shipping charges are not refundable. Customer must pay for the return shipping cost back to Chibi A n J. If the return is a result of our error, or if the item is defective, then we will pay the return shipping cost.

We will contact you by e-mail once we have received and processed the returned item. In most cases, we will issue a refund in the same form of payment originally used for the purchase. If you paid by money order, it will take longer for you to receive the refund.

On the back of your packing slip (the receipt included in the box with your items) please write the reason for your return and your return authorization number. Then enclose the slip in the box with the returned item, package securely, and ship to the address we will provide upon authorization. We request that all return shipments are sent by USPS with a tracking number.

Shipping Policy:

During the checkout process, please enter your zip code and country. Then the shipping menu will provide you with the shipping options available for your area. We currently ship via UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS)*. Shipping rates are based on package weight and destination.

Please allow 1-3 business days for us to process and fulfill your order. In stock items ordered before 12pm EST Monday through Friday normally ship the same or next day. In stock items ordered after 12pm EST Monday through Friday, on Saturday, Sunday, or on a national holiday normally ship the next or following business day.

All domestic orders (Continental US & Alaska/Hawaii) will ship via UPS and United States Postal Service (USPS).
UPS shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may be subject to additional charges.
Canadian residents are also eligible for this shipping service. Canadian orders may incur additional customs fees, which UPS will attempt to collect at the time of delivery. We cannot estimate or collect these fees in advance.
Please note UPS does not ship to PO Boxes.

All International orders will ship via USPS Priority Mail International and Express Mail International or with UPS Worldwide services. Orders to US Territories and APO/FPO Military addresses will ship via USPS domestic mail or the appropriate UPS services.
International orders may incur additional customs fees. It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of the customs and duty laws in your country, and to make sure that any items in your order are not prohibited within your country. Chibi A n J will not be held liable. We can not estimate or collect these fees in advance. For customes forms we will mark packages as "Merchandise" and an invoice with the exact total order amount will be enclosed within the package.

Once a package has been shipped it is no longer our responsibility as it is now out of our hands. If something happens to a package while in transit we cannot be held accountable. Insurance is strongly recommended, and we will gladly add it to your package when applicable. Please note that only the value of the contents can be insured, not the shipping charges. Some shipping services and methods include insurance or indemnity coverage to a certain amount. We always try to include a tracking number or delivery confirmation with every package when available.
However, should you have any questions or concerns about you package please don't hesitate to contact us as we will try to work with you to the best of our knowledge.

We reserve the right to refuse shipment to any country for any reason. We reserve the right to change the shipping methods offered at our discretion. Some orders may require additional shipping costs, than originally calculated in the checkout process, in which case we will contact you. Orders do not ship until your payment for the total order is cleared.

Holiday Shipping Schedule 2007: In order to make sure you receive your packages in time for Christmas, or when you need it, please take a look at the schedules for UPS and USPS. On their following links you can find how long each service delivery will take, and their last days to be shipped out. Remember to place your order with us at least 3 days before the last ship dates.

Store Pick Up:

This option is NOT available anymore until we find a new store front location. Thank you.
Please choose this shipping option if you would like to pick up your order at our retail location. Orders will be available for pick up after 1 p.m. next business day (or after 1 p.m. Tuesday for orders placed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday). A handling charge will be added to every order. You must present to cashier your credit card or PayPal receipt used for payment, photo ID, and order receipt or number. Orders not picked up within 14 business days will be cancelled. Your payment will be refunded minus the handling charge, which is not refundable.

Gift Certificates purchased In-Store - Please enter your code in the box provided in the Shopping Cart. The amount redeemed will be applied when we process your order. Certificate amount will not appear on your order confirmation, we will send you an adjusted invoice with actual total. In-store gift certificates expire one year after date purchased.

Gift Certificates by PayPal - How to redeem your gift certificate: 1. Visit http://www.chibianj.com. Shop and find an item you wish to purchase. 2. Select PayPal as your payment option. Log in to your account. You must have or register for a PayPal account to redeem this gift certificate. (To register, click Sign Up now) 3. When prompted, enter your gift certificate redemption code and follow the last steps to redeem your gift certificate.
Important Terms: 1. Printed Merchant Gift Certificates are transferable if they do not include a recipient email address. For security and verification purposes, you may be required to verify your identity using a credit card. 2. Backordered Items:

Temporarily out of stock items will be placed on backorder and are shipped individually as they come back in stock. Items that are designated as "backordered" are items that we don't currently have in stock, but we expect to receive it from our supplier. They are still available for order but the speed at which we send it to you varies from product to product. However, we may cancel the out of stock items from your order if we are unable to fulfill it.

If your order includes backordered items and needs to be sent to you in multiple shipments they will be sent by the shipping method you initially selected. Shipping charges are applied to every package sent to you and are calculated based on package weight and destination. To minimize shipping charges, Chibi A n J will strive to minimize the number of shipments necessary to complete an order.

If you choose not to make use of the backorder, please make a note on the order form. In this case only items in stock will be delivered and the rest of your order will be cancelled.

Please note you will not be charged until we ship the item to you.

Cancelled Orders:

Once you place an order it can not be cancelled. Please contact us if you have any concerns or requests about your order.

We reserve the right to cancel any order, or certain items within an order, for any reason. If such is the case your payment will be refunded, and if applicable, minus any shipping, handling or other charges.

Special Orders:

Special Order is available for products we do not currently offer on our site, but can receive from our suppliers. If looking for a particular product please add the "Special Order" item to your cart and fill in the text box below. Please give as much detail as possible for what you wish to order. We'll get back you with the price and availability of the product. Price and delivery time may vary. Please note you will not be charged until we ship the item to you. We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time for any reason. Once confirmed items ordered by Special Order cannot be cancelled and are not returnable.

Out of Stock on Backorder:
Item will be placed on Backorder and upon arrival from suppliers then shipped out.
Out of Stock Not Able to Backorder:
Item is no longer availble from suppliers due to discontinuation from manufacturer, being out of print, and will NOT be shipped out.
Pre-Order:
Item is scheduled to be released and upon arrival from suppliers then shipped out.

Please note that stock availability is not guaranteed as it changes frequently. However, we do try our best to keep all items up to date. Release dates are subject to change and cancellation. Due to the nature of this market many products are on limited editions or quantities.
